Our headquarters brings our people together in a space that embodies our values. Sustainability shapes everything here, from the building's design to the partners who work alongside us. Read more below.
In 2024, we moved to Fitzwilliam 28, our modern, sustainable headquarters on Dublin's historic Georgian Mile. Designed by award-winning Irish architects Grafton Architects in collaboration with Henry J Lyons and Structure Tone, our new home in the heart of Dublin 2 reflects our commitment to Ireland as the global hub for aircraft leasing.
The design thoughtfully balances contemporary office space with respect for its Georgian setting, using complementary materials and planting. With extensive sustainability-driven innovation, the building is LEEDv4.1 Commercial Interiors Gold Certified accredited, reflecting our commitment to environmental responsibility.
Our headquarters provides a world-class environment that reflects our company culture and the industry's growth over the past decade. The building features state-of-the-art office space, a wellness centre, restaurant, the Together Academy training café and vocational training college, and the Trinity College Dublin SAF Research Facility. We even maintain rooftop beehives, producing our own honey.

Together Academy x SMBC Aviation Capital Initiative
Together Academy and SMBC Aviation Capital have opened a new vocational training college for young adults with Down syndrome at SMBC Aviation Capital's headquarters. Supported by a multi-annual Government grant from Pobal, this purpose-built facility includes a two-year culinary training programme, a vocational training programme, and a training café.
The ground floor café is open to SMBC Aviation Capital employees, other tenants of Fitzwilliam 28, clients, and invited guests, providing real-world experience for Together Academy students and graduates - all young people with Down syndrome.
Students rotate between different roles in the café, including front of house, barista, and waiting staff, while also developing culinary skills in the lower ground floor training kitchen. This hands-on environment allows them to put theory into practice and build vital skills for employment.
Together, we are changing the way corporate Ireland sees inclusion and embraces people who learn differently, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to achieve their potential. Read more about the Together Academy here.
The Trinity College Dublin Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) Research Facility, in partnership with SMBC Aviation Capital, is located at our headquarters in Dublin 2. This dedicated facility focuses on the research, development, testing, and validation of SAF, playing a crucial role in supporting the aviation sector's decarbonisation efforts.
The lab conducts exhaustive testing of SAF candidates to ensure they meet the rigorous safety standards required for use in existing and future aircraft. As part of the EU SAF Clearing House, it measures fuel properties, researches how chemical composition influences airworthiness, and assesses the true sustainability of SAF types produced in the EU.
Through this work, the facility provides essential "pre-screening" services to SAF producers, helping to accelerate the path toward the EU's mandate that 70% of all aviation fuel be SAF by 2050. Read more about the research facility here.
