Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee is called ‘Mosaic’. By championing inclusion and investing in our people, we aim to create a workplace where everyone is valued for their unique contribution. This will enable us to achieve sustainable success as a global team. 

Our approach is built on three core principles:

  • Diversity is about recognising, respecting, and harnessing the visible and non-visible differences that make us unique.
  • Equality is about ensuring everyone has fair and equal access to opportunities whilst recognising that people may require different supports to fulfil their potential.
  • Inclusion is about fostering an environment that values difference, ensuring each individual feels a sense of belonging, can express themselves authentically and is supported to thrive.

Gender Pay Gap Report

In compliance with The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021, we are committed to publishing our annual Gender Pay Gap Report. In publishing the report, we aim to provide an understanding of the context behind our gender pay gap. We also want to provide information on how we support gender equality and demonstrate our commitment to equal opportunities for all employees.

Elevate

Our employee wellbeing programme, Elevate, established in 2019, focuses on mental and physical health and development for every stage of our people’s careers. We are committed to continuing to invest in initiatives to support our employees at every life stage. 

Celebrating Diversity Together

Throughout the year, we mark key diversity events including Pride and International Women's Day by hosting internal celebrations and welcoming external speakers. These events provide opportunities to champion diversity, explore important topics and foster meaningful dialogue within our community.

ISTAT DEI Award

Winner of ISTAT’s first DEI award, which aims to highlight and showcase ISTAT member companies, teams or individuals who are “DEI Champions”; those who are positive role models, advocates, and allies in supporting DEI within the aviation industry. Read more here.

IATA 25by2025

We are committed to gender diversity in line with the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) 25by2025 programme, committing to increasing women representation in senior and under-represented positions by 25% by 2025.  

25by2025 is a global initiative led by IATA to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in the aviation industry. Brought to life in 2019, it emphasises the significance of adopting best practices to foster greater DE&I and gender balance in the aviation sector.

Following an assessment of seniority levels within the business we identified three levels (EVP, SVP and VP) which require improvement. The levels which are currently balanced are planned to be continuously monitored to maintain balance beyond 2025.
