Third Airbus A350 XWB for Asiana Airlines

Toulouse, 26th September 2017: SMBC Aviation Capital is pleased to announce that it has delivered its third Airbus A350 XWB (MSN 0144) to Korean airline, Asiana Airlines. This is the third of a six A350 XWB sale and leaseback deal which also includes the financing of Pre-Delivery Payments due to the aircraft manufacturer.
The aircraft is fitted with Rolls Royce Trent XWB-84 engines. SMBC Aviation Capital's first and second A350 aircraft were delivered to Asiana in April and July 2017, with one more due for delivery in 2017 and two in 2018.
Asiana was one of SMBC Aviation Capital's first customers in Asia. Both companies have now worked together for over 14 years.
