SMBC Aviation Capital delivers seven Boeing 737-8 Max to Southwest Airlines
Seattle, 19th Jan 2021: SMBC Aviation Capital is pleased to announce the delivery of seven (7) Boeing 737-8 MAX (MSN 61866, 61871, 61870, 61889, 61865, 61860 and 61868 ) each equipped with two (2) CFM LEAP-1B27 engines to Southwest Airlines.
The first of these aircraft, MSN 61866 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on December 28th, while the seventh aircraft MSN 61868 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on January 19th.
MSN 61871 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on December 29th 2020
MSN 61870 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on December 30th 2020
MSN 61889 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on January 7th 2021
MSN 61865 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on January 8th 2021
MSN 61860 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on January 11th 2021
These are the first 7 Boeing 737-8 MAX to be delivered to Southwest Airlines from a twelve (12) aircraft deal with the remaining aircraft scheduled to deliver this year.
